The Roanoke Personal Injury Lawyers with Skolrood Law Firm explain city officials are working to make this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration the best one yet! News of the efforts came with the announcement the hours and location of the city’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival would be expanded.
According to WSLS10 News, areas along both Salem and Campbell Streets will be shut down from noon until 8 p.m. on Monday in order to host musical entertainment.
The festivities will also include The Shamrock Hill 5K and 10K road races that will begin at 8:30 a.m. along Jefferson Street. The parade will then kick off from the same location beginning at 11 a.m.
The event isn’t just for adults. There will be a children’s area with face painting, games, and inflatables at the Taubman Museum of Art.
Skolrood Law Firm recognizes alcohol may be served at this event and reminds citizens that drinking and driving will significantly increase the risk of being involved in a Roanoke Car Accident. That is why the firm asks citizens to plan ahead by designating a safe driver before going out to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
