A miner has become the most recent victim of a Virginia wrongful death.

According to wric.com, a man became a Virginia wrongful death victim when his truck carrying coal rolled over at a state surface mine. The Virginia wrongful death victim was pinned in the cab of a 1975 Mack, and he worked for Presley Trucking.

The Virginia wrongful death victim had hit a safety beam while decending a steep slope, the article said. The Virginia wrongful death was ruled an accident in a preliminary report.

Sheriff’s deputies become Virginia wrongful death victims

Two sheriff’s deputies became Virginia wrongful death victims when a gunman hiding in the woods in a rural area shot and killed the two men, the Charlotte Observer reports.

Two other officers were also wounded.

Other law enforcement officials caught up to the gunman responsible for the two Virginia wrongful deaths, and the gunman was shot when he drew his gun on the officers approaching him.

Two Virginia wrongful deaths occur in duck-hunting accidents

Two men became victims of Virginia wrongful deaths after drowning in separate duck-hunting accidents, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

One 28-year-old became a Virginia wrongful death victim when he fell from his boat. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

The other Virginia wrongful death victim was a 20-year-old man on holiday break from school.
