At Skolrood Law Firm, our Roanoke personal injury lawyers love motorcycles, but not as much as we love improving lives in our community. That’s why we want to let you know about a local event that lets you ride and help others!
The Roanoke Times reports the Toys 4 Bot-E-ToTs Toy Drive & Motorcycle Run will take place next Saturday, Sept. 27. The ride will begin at the VFW building on Route 22 in Fincastle, Virginia. Registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m. and the first bike will leave the lot by 10 a.m. Bikes will complete the run by 2 p.m.
The event will feature a 50/50 drawing, raffle, and door prizes in addition to a pork chop BBQ.
The fee to attend the event is one unwrapped children’s toy or $15 per rider. All gifts collected will be given to needy children living in Botetourt County.
At Skolrood Law Firm, we know the satisfaction that can come from attending one of these charity rides, but we also recognize that increases in traffic can lead to Roanoke motorcycle accidents. That’s why we encourage all motorcyclists to be vigilant of their surroundings and wear helmets while riding.
