At Skolrood Law Firm, our Roanoke Personal Injury Lawyers understand the emotional strain caused by the loss of a loved one, especially when the loss is caused by another person’s negligence. Sometimes, talking to others who have gone through a similar experience can help individuals through the difficult times that follow the death of a loved one.
A Roanoke County couple is offering a new class at First Baptist Church called GriefShare. The program’s leaders lost their son and began attending the support group as members. During their time in the group, they found they enjoyed helping others through the grieving process and became leaders of the group.
Now, they hope to help others through shared experience. The first meeting of the group took place last night, but more events are scheduled to take place. Meetings will take place each week on Monday night from 6:30-8:15 p.m. Similar events take place on a weekly basis at Falling River Baptist Church in Brookneal, Virginia, and Hyland Heights Baptist Church in Rustburg.
Helping others is important to Skolrood Law Firm and we hope raising awareness of these events helps ease the pain and suffering so many citizens are going through due to the loss of a loved one.
